At the OPPO Developer Conference event, OPPO announced Oppo's latest support for Phone Link to Link to Windows. The Link to Windows feature itself was previously limited to several smartphone devices such as Samsung, Honor and Surface Duo. Now with the presence of Phone Link to Link to Windows support, several smartphones from the BBK Group under the OnePlus, Oppo and Realme brands support this feature.
To connect to a PC device, the Link to Windows application must be installed on a computer with the Windows 10/11 operating system. Later, users can connect a smartphone device that has the Phone Link application installed, to a PC that already has the Link to Windows feature.
Once connected, users can mirror their Android phone screen to a PC, providing a larger workspace for multitasking and productivity.
Users can utilize PC peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, or touch screen to interact with Android applications. There is also a Phone Screen feature that also allows users to enjoy seamless interaction, so they can type, scroll and navigate Android applications with precision via a PC input device.
But for now only devices running ColorOS 14 can currently connect. Meanwhile for devices with OxygenOS 14 and Realme UI 5.0, support will only be available after the launch of the latest flagships from OnePlus and Realme.
