Digital Maps on Apple Maps mobile operating system iOS version 6 does not get a positive response. Many users hope that Google Maps coming soon on iOS 6. Unfortunately, in the near future I have not been able to make it happen.
Google Chairman Eric Schmidt confirmed that, on Tuesday (25/09/2012). He said the decision to bring Google Maps in iOS, to be approved by Apple. Both companies have communicated, but no one has found a bright spot.
"What should we do? Forcing them to not change the decision? These desires," said Schmidt, as quoted by Reuters.
Lately rumors that Google Maps for iOS currently in development and awaiting Apple approval. However, Schmidt gave no sign it will happen soon.
"I'm not predicting anything. We want them to be partners. We very much welcome it. I do not want to speculate on what they are doing. They can answer questions about it if necessary," he added.
As we know, Apple decided to remove Google Maps and YouTube as the default application in iOS 6. YouTube standalone app available for iOS, but Google Maps, in the near future is not yet available.
The Apple mobile device users who have updated to iOS 6 operating system, Apple Maps is not as detailed as judge and as accurate as Google Maps.
